WHICH FITNESS EQUIPMENT BEST SUITS MY NEEDS?
There are many types of fitness equipment. They are generally classified into 3 types of categories. Ensuring you have the right equipment for your needs is important to avoid unnecessary problems down the track, including warranty and insurance issues. The three categories are: Home use, Corporate or Light Commercial, and Commercial.
HOME USE
Home use fitness equipment is designed and rated for the home gym market. Generally home use equipment, (particularly cardio equipment) is rated at 1 - 2 hours use per day.
CORPORATE USE / LIGHT COMMERCIAL
Corporate use fitness equipment is designed and rated generally for the business industry, including personal trainers, hotels, small gyms, work place gyms and the like. Corporate use fitness equipment is rated at 5 continuous hours of use per day. Of course, there are many home gym setups that have corporate equipment because of the quality of workmanship.
COMMERCIAL
Commercial use fitness equipment is designed and rated for the Leisure centre industry, including all large gyms with a large customer base.
